Mohamed Nour is a Sudanese-Canadian national and joined the HAS team as an Associate Lawyer within the Corporate department. Mohamed’s legal background stems from his discovering his passion for the law whilst attaining his Bachelor’s degree in International Relations and Development at the University of Windsor in Canada. He subsequently received his law degree from the University of Exeter in Devon, England and his Master of Laws degree in International Legal Practice with a focus on Intellectual Property from the University of Law in Bristol, England.

His broad international experience has helped him in advising on cross border transactions and has successfully dealt with disputes in both Arabic and English with an in-depth understanding of international legal frameworks.

Mohammed’s experience span over a wide spectrum of legal matters including drafting Company Secretarial documents to Mergers and Acquisitions Agreements and Cross Border Commercial Contracts

for a variety of industries ranging from Tourism, Food & Beverage and Construction. He also has extensive experience and knowledge in advising on Corporate Formation and Restructuring Matters for Onshore and Offshore Entities within the United Arab Emirates.

Involved in many renowned organizations his opinion is often sought after as clearly seen during the recent presentations he gave to the Entrepreneurs Organization on banking and restructuring as well as Negotiating strategies and technics in line with UAE law in the light of the Covid 19. Versatile, he also helps startups grow their business in line with common jurisdiction while remaining sensitive to the GCC market culture.

His strong educational background -Dual qualified- and interest on different cultures has led him to work on 4 different continents give him an advantage to understanding all blend of cultures present on the UAE market.

Mohamed Nour is one of our most valuable asset and a forward thinking mind as his 2016 dissertation masters on implication of patenting embryonic stem cells research illustrates.

Keen to give back to the community he dedicates his free time between Pro bono cases for the UAE universities and has lead lectures on cult of personality & self-sacrifice bring to the legal field a dimension in synergy with the psychological aspect.

  • Reviewed and negotiated several distribution agreements on behalf of a US based oil and gas products provider for the GCC Market.

  • F&B Franchise: negotiating the exit of an Italian multinational confectionery company in Dubai and assisted in restructuring potential losses of AED 4.6 million prior to initiating a liquidation procedure.
