A dynamic and results-oriented lawyer who graduated from Universite Saint Joseph with bachelor’s in international law. Holds the position of “bilingual litigation paralegal” at HAS firm since October 2023. Known for my ability to communicate complex legal concepts clearly and effectively to clients and colleagues and ensuring that clients receive exceptional legal support.

Samara started her career working with the United Nations in 2014, as a WFP (World Food Programme) officer in Lebanon, Bekaa Valley. She collaborated with local agencies, government bodies, and non-profit organizations to identify eligible refugees and assess their specific needs.

She worked closely with financial institutions and legal advisors to navigate the regulatory and compliance aspects of fund distribution.

Most importantly advocated for the rights and well-being of refugees, seeking to empower them through financial assistance and access to essential resources.

 

After 5 years with the United Nations, Samara decided to study French language in Canada- Montreal, at “Centre St-Louis.” Where she has obtained the degree of Delf B1 in the French language.  

 

After returning to the UAE in December 2022, she started her legal internship with Al Balooshi & Al Marashda Advocates and Legal Consultants. The internship program gave her knowledge of the court systems online (Dubai and Federal) and she collaborated with the legal team to achieve successful outcomes for clients. Conducted regular client meetings, both in person and virtually, to gather updates on case progress, discuss potential strategies, and address any concerns or questions. Skillfully communicated complex legal concepts and case developments in a clear and understandable manner, ensuring clients were well- informed and empowered to make informed decisions.

 

In October 2023, she started at HAS as a bilingual litigation paralegal. My role is to provide support to lawyers by conducting legal research and helping prepare cases. Assist in drafting legal documents including pleadings, notices, and agreements, ensuring accuracy and adherence to legal standards. Organize and manage case files, maintaining documentation, correspondence, and relevant materials for easy access. Interact with clients to gather information, schedule meetings, and provide updates on case progress. A adhere to ethical guidelines and maintain client confidentiality, ensuring the integrity of legal proceedings. Working closely with legal consultants to facilitate smooth workflow and effective case management.
